Collection Andre Weber - Switzerland

Our very good friend Andre Weber was born in Switzerland and started collecting shells in 1978. He collects all families, bivalves and gastropods except Land snails. His preferred family is Volutidae, which he has many nice specimens.

He worked for Swiss International Airlines (formerly Swissair) in the past years and is almost retired. His job took him to many different places and allowed him to collect exceptional shells. His collection is probably the largest in Switzerland - as you can see in the photos.
He visits us very often and became very close to our family.
